Welcome to the 2007-2008 Snow Inn website. Here at the Snow Inn we do things a little bit differently, treading our own patch somewhere between the comfort of a catered chalet, the character of a traditional farmhouse gite and the flexibilty of your favourite B&B. What does this mean? Well it means you can arrive and leave any day of the week you fancy, be it a stolen long-weekend or a Sunday-Sunday holiday taking advantage of cheaper non-Saturday flights. You get B&B accommodation with the option of wholesome evening meals in with us or nights out at local resaurants. You get the comfort of our 250 year old farmhouse in a traditional alpine village which just happens to have found itself at the centre of Paradiski - the world's second largest ski area!
From the Snow Inn, both Les Arcs and La Plagne are a 5 minute drive, with les Arcs also accessed via a free ski bus. These two huge resorts are linked by the world's largest cable car - the Vanoise Express, creating the world's second largest ski area, Paradiski. It might sound like cheap vodka but the reality is enough skiing/boarding to keep you busy for a month, from gentle to evil pistes and one of the world's largest and most accessible off-piste havens.
There are plenty other areas to be skied, boarded, tele'd and even avoided on skins and touring skis! La Rosiere/la Thuile is only 15 minutes up the valley, followed by the off-piste gem of Ste Foy, 25 minutes from the Snow Inn and finally Val d'Isere and Tignes 35 minutes away at the head of the valley. With a hire car you can hit a new resort each day if you want to, before a long relaxing evening in front of the fire re-living the day's escapades.
